Cerem ca organele abilitate (Politia in colaborare cu DVS-ul) sa identifice autorul acestei orori si sa aplice legea protectiei animalelor 205/2004, modificata de legea 9/2008.
Nu mai vrem ca astfel de indivizi sa nu dea socoteala pentru faptele lor, nu ii mai vrem liberi printre noi, capabili sa comita si alte orori, asupra altor animale sau oameni.
Cazul REX = cazul cainelui care a fost torturat si caruia i s-au scos ochii cu tepuse inrosite in foc de catre un individ deocamdata neidentificat, In Iacobeni (9 km distanta de Vatra Dornei). Cainele a fost tinut in perfuzii, stabilizat, si-a pierdut definitiv vederea (ambele pleoape ii sunt cusute) si se afla intr-un lung si anevoios proces de recuperare si adaptare dupa trauma suferita. Medicul care l-a ingrijit a declarat ca actul a fost comis cu rea intentie si ca nu este vorba de un accident.
Autorul actului, prin atrocitatea de care a dat dovada, denota ca este un pericol social, astfel incat identificarea, cercetarea si pedepsirea sa legala constituie acte de protectie sociala. O astfel de persoana, poate comite in continuare astfel de atrocitati fie asupra altor animale fie chiar asupra altor semeni umani.

Demand justice for Moo the cat brutally slain by teen
A 19-year-old man has been charged with the brutal killing of a cat on the Gold Coast of Australia.
In a gruesome attack, the male is alleged to have decapitated the cat and used its blood to write a threat on the door of a Gold Coast house.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals put up a $5000 reward to find the cat’s killer, describing the attack as one of the worst acts of animal cruelty it had seen.
The owner of the cat was said to have been heartbroken. The cat – a female called Moo who had been nursing six kittens – had been stolen from the owner’s house and then taken to the scene where it was killed. The owner stated to media that the killer deserves to go to jail.
The justice system needs to send a clear message to the likes of Jordan Christie that if you commit acts of torture on animals, you will be severely punished. It may well be time to bring in new laws for crimes of cruelty of this magnitude.
