Abbott Fuller Graves (1859–1936 )  a fost un pictor si ilustrator american specializat in picturi de gradini si naturi statice cu flori, cu influente de impresionism european.

Graves s-a nascut in Weymouth, Massachusetts, pe 15 aprilie 1859, fiul lui James Griswold Graves si al Elizei Nicholls (Fuller). Sperand sa devina arhitect, Graves a urmat cursurile institutului Massachusetts Institute of Technology, insa nu a absolvit. Graves a plecat la Paris si in Italia in 1884 pentru a se perfectiona ca pictor de flori. In Europe, a locuit cu Edmund C. Tarbell. Dupa reintoarcerea la Boston in 1885, Graves a devenit profesor la Cowles Art School, unde preda si prietenul sau Childe Hassam .fara indoiala, cei doi pictori s-au influentat unul pe celalalt.  In 1887, Graves s-a reintors la Paris pentru a studia pictura de figuri la Academie Julien.
Graves s-a reintors la  Boston in 1891 si a locuit in orasul de coasta Kennebunkport, Maine, unde a predat ore de pictura in ulei si acuarela.  A continuat sa picteze scene de compozitie cu fermieri, pescari, pompieri si batrani capitani de vas din Kennebunkport. Multe dintre aceste lucrari au fost reproduse pe calendare si carti postale.

Dupa 1891, majoritatea lucrarilor lui Graves descrii gradini si peisaje cu flori, unele cu figuri feminine.  In 1891 a deschis propria lui scoala de arta in Boston. Ulterior scoala s-a mutat la Kennebunk, Maine. Din 1902 pana in 1905, Graves s-a angajat ca ilustrator comercial pentru reviste din Paris. Dupa 1922, Graves si-a petrecut iernile in New York City, unde facea parte in diferite organizatii ca National Academy of Design, National Arts Club, Salmagundi Club si Allied Artists of America.

Graves a murit in Kennebunkport pe 15 iulie 1936.
